We supply poultry housing from our own designs or to customer requirements, all our houses are manufactured from tanalith pressure treated wood , so will last for years, all hinges and handles are galvanised and any weld mesh used is also galvanised , floors and nest boxes are made with wbp plywood (exterior grade) , so with a little care in handling these house's will last for many years to come, and if given a coat of exterior woodstain they can be quite an attractive addition to your garden.
Keeping poultry ourselves means the housing is tried and tested unlike some of the other designs around. The house is the most important part of keeping poultry so wherever you get it , be it here or elsewhere , be sure it is of sound quality and fit for the job in hand , stay clear of plain untreated wood as this will become loose at the joints and will rot very quickly when exposed to the elements
After going to all the bother of sourcing good stock it will be all in vain if the fox is able to get into your hen house when it starts to rot 12 months down the line, take it from me ,i am getting calls everyday about this .
Our house prices are very competitive for the type of materials used ,you will get cheaper housing but not of this quality of build and at the end of the day a cheap house is just that.
6 ft x 4ft 6 inch grass coverage
The chicken ark is ideal for a situation where you are short on space and you just want to keep 3 or 4 hens for eggs ,the ark can be moved to a new patch of grass every 2 or 3 days . Eggs can be collected via a door in the top of one end and now available with wheels as an optional extra

on the other end there is a door to put in feed and water , there is also access on the side for cleaning, it has the capacity to hold 6 hens ,but if they were going to be confined all the time 4-5 is best for comfort
This extension run is available as an extra

This house measures 4ft x3ft and is suitable for 8-10 birds, there are 3 nest boxes built in with access from a hinged panel in the side, as this house is not that high off the ground the roof is covered with a bitiumous corrugate product , which if bumped
into is soft and would do
less damage than galvanise and will also last a lot longer than a felt roof The birds enter and leave through the hatch door seen here in the front of the house ,this leaves the main door as the cleaning access. This house can be fitted with a moveable run if required but it would not be very practical ,if you had 8 hens in the house the run would need to be quite big,the house is more for a free range set up.
but This house is the same design as the leinster house but bigger , it measures 5ft x 4ft and 6" taller and is suitable for at least 15 birds, there are 4 nest boxes built in with access from a hinged panel in the side, as this house is not that high off the ground the roof is covered with a bitiumous corrugate product , which if bumped into is soft and would do less damage than galvanise and will
also last a lot longer than a felt roof. It is reasonably heavy so as to be sturdy in the windy weather ,not that heavy that it can't be moved , 2 men can pick up this house by the lifting handles and move to a new location
